Ellen and I spent the last several days in Bayfield, WI. This is the town where Ellen’s parents, Tim and Kitty retired after they finished their world cruising on Terra Nova, their 42 foot Halberg Rassy sailboat.

After Tim and Kitty sold their house in St. Paul, they established a new community in Bayfield. Their first house was on the south shore of Lake Superior, just outside of Bayfield. They later moved into town. Here are a few reminders of their lives in this most lovely of Wisconsin towns. (By the way, my grandparents Alice and Ambrose honeymooned in Bayfield).
